The yarn was a gift from a dear family member and now I’m very spoiled. This yarn is absolutely luscious. It is made with 70% baby alpaca and 30% merino wool. It is soft, squishy and sooooo toasty warm!
It is a little pricey, however if you are looking for a way to splurge on you – this is yarn definitely a treat.

The Super Scarf – Your Biggest Accessory this Season!
Hello my Crochet Friends,
Have you seen all the posts and pins about the Super Scarf?
We are still having wonderful warm weather here in Southern California. I haven’t seen anyone wearing the huge scarf, but give it time. Although it may never get cold enough to actually wear the hugest scarf on the planet, it won’t stop some of us participating in a trend. Especially if it keep us warm, AND looks good! 🙂
It’s crazy how viral some of these patterns go. I’ve seen mermaid tails for months. A ton of people jumped on the braided cowl pattern, and a few of us made the Jelly Fish (even though we didn’t have a kid to make it for).
EDIT: The blue scarf below is actually knitted. I know – I had a tear too… but I added another beautiful one at the bottom for you since I love you so much. Sorry about that.
Well it’s called a Super Scarf is the latest trend in crochet, and for good reason. It’s warm, cozy, and pretty much feels like getting a warm fuzzy hug all day long!
What qualifies as a Super Scarf? Well, technically it is anything that is larger than a traditional scarf. But I would describe it as scarf, meets shawl, meets blanket all in one!
Really! Look at these things! They are huge! What a bold fashion statement! You cannot get cold with this thing around you!!
Its a great way to get some family off the Christmas List and to get rid of some of my stash 🙂
The other thing great about the Super Scarf is you can wear it so many ways!! There’s a video from Yarnspirations called 9 Ways to Tie your Scarf! Check it out and change up how you wear your super scarf!
EDIT: Here’s the bonus Free Scarf Pattern!! Again, Sorry about that. I’m gonna leave it for any knitters – and because I’m trying to learn 🙂
Is this something you are making for gifts? I think I might! What are some other gifts you like to make?
