Hello Again from Karla’s Making It – My weekend trip, plans for Karla’s Making It, and your goals!!
Hello My Friend,
Welcome!! Thank you so much for visiting today. I appreciate you taking the time to read what I have to share and it is my hope that you find valuable or inspirational information here.
Happy Memorial Day! If you are a service member, please accept my thank you for your sacrifice and dedication. Being in the military is not an easy job and being a dependent of a member of the military takes so much strength too! Their loved ones have to leave their family for months and even years. It is a difficult life and you also deserve my appreciation.
How did you spend your weekend? Hopefully you got some extra rest and relaxation, went on an adventure or got to spend an extra day with your family. As for me, we had an adventure. We left for the weekend exploring northern Arizona on the motorcycle. I shot some amazing photos. Arizona is so pretty with it’s sandy desert, rocky mountains, red rock and forest, with a few waterways mixed in. The scenery always amazes me.
As you may have read in last week’s post, my plans are to add some additional content to the Karla’s Making it website. I hinted at a few ideas I have to share with you including nutrition, exercise, eliminating bad habits and adding better habits. Basically, my goal is to share with you my plans to be better, and I’m hoping I can inspire at least one other person to be better too.
I wanted to share what inspired these changes. Like many of you, I enjoy reading my friends posts on Facebook. In the past, I have been a quiet friend, just enjoying knowing what is going on in their lives. I smiled at all their happy occasions and was saddened by their bad news. But more and more recently, the posts I see are not so positive. Many of them are not happy with their weight or their health. They are trying to achieve these huge goals and not finding happiness or success. They are affected by how their family or friends comment on their appearance, feeling hurt by their thoughtless criticism.
It truly saddens me to read these and I will usually comment with something uplifting and hopefully encouraging. But it will probably happen to them again and they probably won’t post every single time they feel bad. I desire, through Karla’s Making It, to inspire and encourage anyone who needs it, any time of the day, in any part of the world. I plan to do this with inspirational quotes, encouraging articles, uplifting stories, and helpful tips to be better.
This week you can expect information in the area of nutrition, exercise, and making small changes that lead to big achievements in many areas in our lives. I will share the changes I plan to implement this week and inspire you to set your own goals.
Before I share my goals with you, what are some goals you have set for yourself. If you haven’t set any goals, what changes have you been thinking about making recently?
Thank you again for your time and…
Make it a Beautiful Day,
